Full Description
Rectangular pits of unknown date and function are visible as earthworks in the inter-tidal zone of the River Orwell in Trimley St Martin parish, centred on TM 25293759, on aerial photographs from 1944 and 1946. The pit are not arranged in a regular pattern and each appears to be no bigger than about 4m by 3m. (S1) (S2)
