Full Description
A possible Post-Medieval causeway is visible on aerial photographs from 1943 onwards, as an earthwork on the reclaimed land to the south of Snape village, centred on circa TM39575783. The visible remains are approximately 2m wide and 250m in length, extending in a roughly west-east direction from circa TM39385780 to circa TM39625786. They can also be seen on 1945 photographs, but are less visible by 1972 (S2-3).
