Full Description

Three World War II bomb craters are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in the 1940s, centred on TM 240303712 near to Collimer Point in Shotley parish. The craters are arranged in a row and are all roughly 17m in diameter. The craters have virtually disappeared by 1946. (S1)
