Full Description

A possible Bronze Age round barrow is visible as the cropmark of a ring ditch on aerial photographs taken in 2002, centred on TM 24283999 to the east of Levington Park research station, Levington. The ring ditch encloses an area 18.5m in diameter and has no obvious entrances. There is a concentration of round barrows, presumably of Bronze Age date, in this area and it is possible that this ring ditch also represents the remains of a Bronze Age round barrow. (S1) (S2)
