Full Description

A possible Prehistoric house site or burial mound is visible as a parchmark on aerial photographs taken in 1973, centred on TM 19883724 in the field to the east of Walnut Tree Farm, Chelmondiston. The ring ditch encloses an area 16.5m in diameter and a small gap in the ditch is visible to the north. The ring ditch possibly represents the site of a very large Prehistoric house or the remains of a small Bronze Age burial mound. (S1) (S2)
