Full Description
A probable bomb crater of World War II date is visible as an incidental earthwork at circa TM40344973, Gedgrave parish. The crater is first visible on aerial photographs of 1943 (S1). It is roughly circular and about 22m in diameter. There are a number of possible structures circa 60m, and circa 350m, to the north west of the crater that may be related to WWII military activity but it is not possible to be sure. Please see GED 017-9 for similar sites.
