Full Description
Three circular features are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of Boyton parish, centred on circa TM38344730. They are from 7m to 12m in diameter and resemble bomb craters. However, there is no visible trace of the upcast that you might expect from an explosion, and the location of the features on or near field boundaries suggests that they may have been deliberately located, possibly to house Light Anti-aircraft Artillery, probably associated with the Armoured Fighting Vehicle range to the east (see BOY 024).
