Full Description

A possible World War II structure is first visible as on aerial photographs of 1945, about 75m to the north-west of Boyton Hall Farm, centred on circa TM38184645 (S1, S2). The possible tent is about 14 x 8m in size, and is possibly associated with the numerous similar temporary military structures in the immediate area (e.g. see BOY 039-42). Alternatively, the feature may simply be a hay rick, but at this time the possibility of disguised military features cannot be discounted.
