Full Description
A possible ring ditch of unknown date is visible on aerial photographs as a cropmark centred on circa TM37774594, Hollesley parish. Although the feature is very faint it appears to enclose an area circa 7.5m in diameter within a narrow ditch less than 1 metre wide. The ditch appears too narrow to be associated with a round barrow and is more likely to have been the drip gully of a later prehistoric round house. The feature may be associated with the surrounding system of ditched boundaries or nearby oval or elongated enclosures (HLY 028, HLY 90). (S2, S3)
