Full Description

A World War II pillbox is visible as a structure on aerial photographs taken in the late 1940s, located at TM 16873804 to the south of Turkey Farm, Freston. The pillbox is located in a hedge next to the road and appears to be a Type 23, half-open half-roofed pillbox. (S1) (S2) By 1951 the pillbox had been demolished. (S3)
