Full Description

A possible World War II small trench system is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs taken in 1944, centred on TM 19873816 in Woolverstone Park. The trenches appear to be fairly shallow and cover an area roughly 60m by 70m. The function of the trenches is unclear. (S1) (S2) The trenches are hardly visible by 1946. (S3)
