Full Description
Bomb craters of World War II date are visible on aerial photographs of 1943 onwards, as earthworks situated to the south-west of Barnes' Carr at circa TM39925315, within what is now the area of Tunstall Forest (S1). Two small craters of about 6.5m diameter are visible at circa TM39925315 and TM3994532 on 1943 photographs. A third, larger crater of circa 15m diameter can be seen at circa TM39905328 on 1945 photographs (S2).

The extent of the site has been extended to include locations of additional bomb craters are visible on (S3).
