Full Description
Two trackways are visible on aerial photographs of 1943 onwards as earthwork causeways to the west of Burrow Hill, centred on circa TM37834804 in Capel St Andrew parish (S1). The longer of the two is circa 1.1km long, and connects the village of Capel St Andrew to Burrow Hill. The shorter of the two links Dock Farm to Capel St Andew and is circa 280m long. This stretch has now been converted to a surfaced road. Although both tracks cross the line of drainage channels in places, in general they respect the line of both drains and field boundaries, suggesting a Post-Medieval date for their construction.
