Full Description

A possible ring ditch circa 13 metres in diameter is visible as a cropmark approximately 150 metres to the north-east of Croft Farm, Kirton parish, centred on circa TM26963968. The ring ditch is probably very narrow as it appears as a very faint cropmark amongst stronger cropmarks of probable geological or periglacial origin (see KIR 007). Faint cropmarks of possible featues can be seen inside the area of the ring-ditch, but these may also be non-archaeological in origin. (S1, S2)
