Full Description
A probable military installation of Second World War date, possibly a Light Anti-aircraft Artillery emplacement, is visible as an square earthwork on aerial photographs, located on the western edge of Rushmere Heath, Rushmere St Andrew parish, centred on circa TM19814480. The site is formed of a ditch approximately one metre wide, defining a square emplacement about six metres to a side. The central area may be raised or contain further features, but this is not clear on the available photographs. (S1, S2)
