Full Description
A possible ring ditch circa 40 metres in diameter is visible as a soilmark on an aerial photograph, centred on circa TM229443, 220 metres to the south-west of New England Cottages, Kesgrave parish. The crop or soilmark is very diffuse but the possible ditch is up to 6 metres wide. The function of the ditch is unclear but it may have enclosed the mound of a Bronze Age round barrow, a number of which have been recorded in this area. (S1)
