Full Description
A military practice trench, probably of First World War date, is visible as an earthwork on Waldringfield Heath centred on circa TM264447, on aerial photographs taken during the Second World War, Waldringfield parish. The actual trench is circa 100 metres in length but is crenellated in form, so only measures circa 70 metres from end to end. The crenellated form is typical of trenches of First World War date.
