A possible round barrow of Bronze Age date is visible as a cropmark, centre on circa TM276433 to the north east of Newbourne village, Newbourne parish. This feature is visible as a possible C-shaped ditch approximately 3 metres wide, with a diameter of circa 26 metres. The eastern side of the possible enclosure is not visibly ditched and may be open or obscured by an area of deeper soil. Alternatively this may be of natural origin and not archaeological in origin. Three more certain barrows can be seen to the east (NBN 008-010). (S1)
