Full Description

Field boundaries of probably medieval or post-medieval date are visible on aerial photographs as cropmarks, circa 500 metres to the south of Main Road, Kesgrave, centred on circa TM232454. The cropmarks are on a similar alignment to, and appear to connect with, the surrounding field boundaries visible on the photograph. However, they do appear to be truncated by the route of Grange Lane, which is not marked on Hodskinson's map of 1793. As they appear to predate this road, they are probably therefore medieval or post-medieval in date. Possibly related to KSG 010. (S1, S2)
