Full Description

Probable field boundaries and a possible road or track of medieval or post-medieval date can be seen on aerial photographs as cropmarks to the north of Beaconhill Farm, Martlesham parish, centred approximately on circa TM245475. They appear to be a continuation of the possible road or track recorded to the north-west as BEL 035. On the basis of a possible similarity in alignment with the surrounding, extant field boundaries, a possible medieval or post-medieval date is suggested for these features. (S1, S2)
