Full Description

A broad ditch or landscaped feature may be visible on aerial photographs containing a footpath or boundary, possibly a park pale, associated with the early 19th century building Beaconhill House, Martlesham parish. The possible path or boundary appears to continue eastwards from a footpath at circa TM243470. The path or boundary then takes a curvilinear course for circa 450 metres, between the 10 metre contour and a creek feeding into the River Fynn, apparently enclosing an area of grounds to the south of Beaconhill House.
