Earthworks visible on aerial photographs in a field adjacent to Oakhill Farm, Mendham parish, centred on circa TM 285829, may be the remains of a small moat and grubbed up field boundaries of medieval date. Alternatively they may simply be the silted up remains of water management channels. (S1
