Full Description

A drain or water channel visible on aerial photographs as a cropmark to the east of Roos Hall, centred on circa TM 415901 is possibly of medieval date and part of the original water supply for the Hall Moat. Although marked on the First Edition Ordnance Survey map of circa 1884 this feature has been transcribed due to it's probable historic relationship with Roos Hall moat. (S1, S2)
