Full Description

A pillbox of Second World War date is visible on aerial photographs as a structure to the south of North Cove Hall, centred on circa TM 463892 on the edge of a sand pit to the south of Lowestoft Road. It was probably positioned here to control traffic along Lowestoft Road, the first main road to the south of the River Waveney. (S1-S3)
