Small bronze Colchester derivative type brooch with three coil spring, found metal detecting (find 26E)(S1).

1986: bronze crudely decorated strap end & backing `fork' and bronze gilded strap end and gilded strap fastener.

1986: Metal detected finds include bronze `annular brooch' or buckle fragment (listed as ?EAS ?C6) and `diamond shaped pin head/ terminal' or PMed ?drawer handle fragment (listed as Med).

Sestertius of Hadrian (AD 117-138) found metal detecting.

Watching brief on site revealed much modern disturbance - foundations of a dozen houses scattered all over the site examined but very little earlier material - 2 sherds Rom greyware and 5 small secondary flint flakes (1 patinated)(S1). Formerly recorded as MRM MISC

Fragments of two bronze brooches, one a Colchester derivative, the other possibly a P-shaped variant of a Colchester derivative. Found whilst metal detecting.

Scatter of C18, C19 & C20 pottery, tile and brick etc., found during fieldwalking.
