Inhumation located during test pitting by University of Cambridge Field Academy (Schools Project) in garden of 4 Church Cottages (C17th) to West of present churchyard (see CHD 060).

4 hulks. 1 - painted modern fishing boat, large. Masts still extant, good condition - ferry. 2 - barge, 'Waterlily', fairly complete. 3 - barge, fairly complete but worse condition than previous. 'Venture' - transom at local pub. Simper - Cranf...

Evaluation identified a single shallow pit containing burnt flint and very abraded pottery of Late Bronze Age - Early Iron Age date.

Paleolithic hand axe(s?), Too rolled to classify by type.

4 lines of parallel posts right on low water mark in front of slight raised area. Adjoins STU 055 - not clear how/if related. 150 long E-W

Monitoring revealed a broad ditch parallel and immediately adjacent to the boundary graveyard wall, though undated it is thought to be the original churchyard boundary.

Med scatter found under floor of Number 4 Front Street.
