Hammered silver halfgroat and silver long cross penny

April 1993: detector finds from field under development included a gold noble of Richard II, a worn long cross penny & a long cross halfpenny of Richard II. Also 3 Post Med coins and misc objects.

Pottery sherds, silver and bronze coins found at various times since 1898.

Deep, narrow, perhaps partly artificial, valley formed by stream and forming parish boundary, with slight bank on eastern (Haverhill) side - see (S1) for details.
