A timber framed and plastered building, erected in 1668.

October 1991: Incomplete bifacially worked leaf arrowhead of light brown flint.

Evaluation, monitoring and excavation identified pits of late medieval/early post-medival date represent typical backyard domestic activity. A single pit of 12th/14th century was also found.

`This was a Dunbird or Pochard pond, as well as possessing three decoy pipes, and was ruined when the Great Eastern Railway cut right through its immediate vicinity.

The cropmarks of enclosures or fields of unknown, but possible later prehistoric to Roman date, are visible on aerial photographs. These features would appear to be a continuation of the fields recorded under SOL 002 or part of the same phase.
