Letheringham Lodge was built in 1472 by the powerful Wingfield family, it was designed as a hunting lodge or 'gloriette' from which high-status visitors could watch the hunt and admire the surrounding landscape.

Medieval to Post-Medieval artefact scatter, including a bronze mount, gilded bronze object, and a bronze ring.

Evaluation identified Late Iron Age / Roman field systems and further undated ditches, pits and postholes

Scatter of pottery in a line about 100m long, C12-C13 unglazed pottery (one with a thumbed cordon below the rim) and a small amount late Med and PMed glazed pottery.

Former doles, presumably from peat cutting, are visible across a large proportion of the Westwood Marshes, as earthworks and vegetation marks on aerial photographs.

Evaluation, revealed two post-medieval walls and an associated 18th-19th century brick floor, thought to be the remains of buildings recorded on 19th and early 20th century maps
