Description
Archaeological monitoring was carried out during construction work for twelve additional bedrooms for the Priory Hotel. A total of 10 visits were made to the site inspecting a topsoil strip of c.0.3m, footings for the bedrooms, drains and soakaways. The monitoring revealed a large ditch running parallel to and outside the Friary wall.
