Description

Archaeological Monitoring was carried out at Mill Road, Pakenham for the construction of a fibre optic repeater station, Ixworth Repeater Station. An area of approximately 20m by 10 was stripped in two phases with a single trench 6m by 0.6m was excavated by hand at the western end of the stripped area. Two service trenches 0.6m deep and 2m long were also excavated by machine.
