Description
Monitoring at Ingham Quarry. An area 220m x 40m was stripped to a depth of 0.3-0.8m. Area close to where Roman remains were excavated by Henry Prigg in 1873. However, there was no sign of any Roman activity during this monitoring, although the level of truncation means they could have been destroyed.
