Description
The pipe trench through the Blackthorpe area was some 0.40m to 0.50m wide and just over one metre deep. In all of the areas monitored the pipe trench cut through natural sand/gravel deposits under 0.20m to 0.30m of topsoil. In all seven monitoring trips were made.
