Description
Excavation carried out in 3 stages. The main part of area 8, covering 6016 sqm was excavated in 2000 up to the existing trackway on the eastern side. A small excavatio of 560 sqm was placed over the potential course of the Catsale Green boundary. Area 7 was excavated in 2000 as well and covered an area of 2112 sqm. 0.4m of ploughsoil was removed from over the natural subsoil.
