Description

Monitoring of electric trench between building 1106 and 1109 in known area of Roman and Early Saxon settlement. During the monitoring soil layers, some features and finds consistant with general knowledge of this area were located, also a sherd of Ipswich ware was found, being the first positively identified Middle Saxon sherd from the Caudle Head area.
