Description
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken of land north of Apple Acre Road, Hanchet End, Haverhill comprising 11 trenches each 1.60m wide and a total length of 310m. Approximately 0.20-0.30m of topsoil was present directly over natural geology, some areas had modern deposits overlying the topsoil.
