Description
Monitoring was carried out on footings for ground works prior to the installation of a new partition wall, during the conversion of No.1 Broad Street, Bungay, into three dwellings. The brick and concrete floor had been removed, for a width of 0.45m, and footing trenches 0.65m deep had been excavated. No archaeological features of significance were revealed and no dateable finds were retained from these visits (S1).
