Description

A programme of fieldwalking and metal detector survey was undertaken prior to phase III of the Cedar's Park housing development. Both surveys utilised a grid split into 20m blocks within which 2m wide transects were scanned for finds. Surface visibility and artefact recovery whilst field walking was very good. A scatter of Romano-British pottery was identified in the western part of the site (S1).
