Description
Archaeological monitoring was carried out on footings for a new extension and garage. Due to a misunderstanding the extensions to the rear of the property had already been poured with concrete before the initial visit. The footings for the garage were c.1.3m deep and revealed 0.9m of topsoil over natural deposits. Animal bone and oyster shell were identified.
