Archaeological monitoring was carried out on groundworks for an extension to the property. Strip foundations revealed a thick layer of silty sand ‘brick earth’ between the topsoil and natural geology. No pre-modern interventions or artefacts were observed within the exposed sections or the available spoil (S1).
