Description
Archaeological monitoring was carried out on groundworks for extensions to the south and west of the building. The westernmost footings were unable to be seen as the concrete had already been poured. For the southern foundations the stratigraphy consisted of 0.1m of topsoil over 0.45m of disturbed natural/topsoil that is believed to relate to the demolition and grubbing out of the remains of previous buildings. No finds or features of archaeological interest were identified.
