Description
Archaeological monitoring was carried out on groundworks for an extension to the site at 8 Guthram Road. The foundation trenches measured 22m in length, 0.5m wide and 0.8-0.9m deep. The trench sides revealed between between 0.15m and 0.25m of topsoil, a further 0.2m and 0.25m of subsoil overlaying natural. No finds or features were identified on the site (S1).
