Description
A watching brief was carried out on trenches for a conservatory. The footings trenches measured 10m long and were dug to a depth of 1m. The ground was disturbed including a post medieval well and recent drains. Three sherds of 12th to 14th century pottery were also identified. There also appear to be a drop towards Southgate Street. The natural was encounted at 0.35m-0.5m (S1).
