Description

Evaluation trenches in the grounds of Chapel Cottage, Hollow Road, Bury St Edmunds found no evidence of that could be related to the former medieval hospital of St Nicholas's immediately to the south. A series of 4 trenches were excavated to a depth of c.0.4m - 0.45m. Post-medieval activity was recorded (S1).
