Description
Monitoring of foundation trenches prior to the construction of a new garage. The trenches were 0.45m x 1.6m x 2m. Over the northern half of the footprint the exposed deposit profile was capped by 0.4/0.5m of modern building type debris in the area of a demolished garage. This lay over a remnant 0.2m deep of the former topsoil over 0.4m of brown silty subsoil over the natually occuring drift geology.
