Description
Archaeological monitoring was carried out on groundworks. Two visits were made to the site to observe the ground works as they progressed and inspect the open trenches and upcast spoil. The foundation trenches were entered to examine the sides and clean any indistinct areas. In total 38m of footing trenches were observed. The trenches measured at 0.7m wide and were excavated to a depth between 0.9m and 1m. No finds or features of archaeological interest were identified (S1).
