Description
A soil strip for new underground electricity cables was monitored. The strip was 450m in length and 4m in width and was excavated to a depth of 0.3m-0.4m. No finds or features of archaeological interest were noted, despite continuous monitoring of the machine during stripping and inspection of the spoil (S1).
