Description
An archaeological evaluation was carried out on land behind 85 Guildhall Street on St Andrews St South, Bury St Edmunds. The work was carried out in accordance with a Brief and Specification issued by Abby Antrobus (Suffolk County Council Archaeological Service, Conservation Team) Funding was provided by the developer, the Guildhall dental practice. The proposal was to develop the site of the car park and garden as part of the dental practice. A field evaluation was carried out on land behind 85 Guildhall Street, Bury St Edmunds. Two trenches were excavated (S1).
