Description
Archaeological excavation was carried out following the evaluation trenching on the site that revealed Roman features. 1244 sq. meters of the site were excavated down to the natural subsoil by a mechanical excavator. A number of features were identified cutting into the geological natural. A minimum of 10% of the length of linear features and at least 50% of the discrete features were excavated by hand (S1).
