Description
A magnetometer survey was carried out on land near School Road, Elmswell prior to proposed development. The proposed area of development covered approximately 15 hectares. An independent network of 30m grid squares was established across each of the fields. The gradiometers were carried along 1m spaced traverse lines through each grid square. The survey detected a large sub-rectangular enclosure and possible quarry pits (S1).
